Since 2008, Steve has served as head of iconic32 Sports Lab, a full-service performance enrichment platform. Sports Lab’s performance training arm originally catered to professional athletes, but rapidly expanded beyond the sports sector into the entertainment, education and arts sectors. He collaborates with experts from the worlds of sports, physical and sports training, education, nutrition, technology, medicine and business to continuously enhance sports + wellness platforms.

Steve’s current and past clients include NBA players Felipe Lopez and Elton Brand, former WNBA star Teresa Weatherspoon, former MLB player Pedro Borbon and a wide roster of international / professional basketball, baseball, and soccer players. He has traveled nationally and internationally to conduct specialized high-performance training clinics, camps, tournaments and combines, as well as for non-profit organizations such as The NBA Cares, Elton Brand’s Summer Basketball Camp, the Jim Couch Foundation, The Super 16 National Showcase, and Ron Stuart’s International Basketball Camp.

Under iconic32 Sports Lab’s guidance, there are currently more than 200 Division 1 and 2 student athletes enrolled and that have graduated from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sports programs.

Steve is an avid community activist and regularly organizes NYC community youth initiatives to help raise awareness for key social issues with other organizations, schools, corporate sponsors, and political officials including NYC Council Member Julissa Fererras, St. John’s University’s Kappa Delta Pi, Make The Road, United Health Group, Vita Coco, Grameen America and the NYPD.

Steve started his career as an educator; teaching, coaching and counseling on all academic levels, including as a professor at St. John’s University. He is a Certified Educator for the NYC Department of Education and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
